Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role as Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences of playing rehearsals together with her mother. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999, to keep acting. After that, she relocated in Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met during an Actorsworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In December 2009 they married following a civil ceremony. They renewed their vows April 10, 2011, in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season and on June 20, 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to return to the set of the show. Her portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has, in turn, its growing popularity on social networks has grown to a huge online following.
